Huck Norris is the fellow inside your tyre to fight off the Bruce Leaks. It also scares off the Snake Bites and Nasty Dents. It’s your buddy to inflate the tubeless tyres to give extra kick to the tyre when you want to punch it to your rims.
Based on a similar idea to the foam-lined, run-flat tyre that has been used in rally car and motorcycle racing, Huck Norris puts a light foam band inside your tyre that adds extra security while letting you preserve the better ride quality of thin sidewall tyres on even the most demanding of DH runs.
This 'DH Edition' comes in a single size to accommodate all the typical rim sizes used on downhill bikes today and also the foam is noticeably firmer/denser than that found on the standard Huck Norris belts, this does add a tiny bit of weight to the belt but a denser foam is better able to absorb the huge impacts downhill mountain biking can encounter.
This 'Downhill Edition' comes only in one size and just as with other versions is delivered in 29" length, however, to fit smaller 27.5" wheels you just cut it shorter at the designated cut points. You can also cut it down further to suit 26" wheels too for those feeling a bit retro.
Huck Norris’s sole purpose is to put the mountain bikers mind at ease so that you can concentrate on your riding and not worry that your tyre will get punctured or your carbon rim might get destroyed.
