The eSpresso 300 EQ is an extremely versatile e-bike rolling on fast 700c tyres, perfect for use in town, on gravel tracks or cycle paths.
The battery is mounted low to keep the centre of gravity down and tapered head tubes deliver confidence-inspiring handling. The eSpresso 300 EQ is a stylish hybrid eBike fully equipped with mudguards, rack, kickstand, lock and lights the eSpresso 300 EQ uses a Shimano Steps 5000 series 40NM motor and 418W battery.
Fast-Rolling 700c Wheels
All eSPRESSO e-bikes roll-on fast-rolling 700c wheels, ideal for rides on roads, lanes and smooth tracks. Merida fit tyres with reflective sidewalls and puncture protection that will get you to your destination quickly and safely. However, their 'classic' eSPRESSO frames can also take 650B wheels if desired.
Ready to Go
The eSpresso 300 EQ SE comes equipped with mudguards, lights, lock, rear rack and a kickstand, making them ready for anything from the moment you leave the store.
System Weight
The system weight of a bike is the combined weight of bike, rider and additional luggage. The allowed system weight is 140 kg. As an e-bike is already heavier than a regular bike, and as it also makes it easier to transport larger amounts of luggage, it is imperative to certify a higher overall system weight. All MERIDA e-bikes, as well as all used componentry, go through a rigorous and e-bike specific testing schedule which mimics the higher forces and strains to guarantee the rider the highest level of safety.
Internal Cable Routing
Merida features internal cable routing on all eSPRESSO bikes. Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. Only a clever system for our internal guiding and fixing guarantees reliable and rattle free routing, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt and gives the bike a cleaner look.
Smart Entry
Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc for later upgrades.

Bike Delivery
Shipping is FREE of charge on bikes (or orders containing bikes) over £499 within Mainland UK and £29.95 on orders containing bikes under £499.
We aim to ship bikes ordered before 12:00 on weekdays that same day with delivery estimated the following working day via DPD, this includes a timed hour slot and options to delay or nominate a neighbour.
In Stock
Unlike many of our competitors, we only make available to purchase online bikes we actually have in stock here in our store − we don't ever remote warehouse or SIM feedstock with multiple day delays.
Furthermore, we aim to have all our bikes pre-built and available for immediate dispatch or for in-store collection, once you have ordered a bike from us one of our mechanics will package your bike into one of our custom-built boxes.
These extra-large boxes allow us to ship most bikes fully assembled but before we do so our mechanics will carry out a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) on the bike to ensure that before it's prepared for shipping everything is set up correctly, e.g., brakes, gear indexing etc.
Upon receiving your bike, you will simply need to take your new bike out of the box, turn and tighten the handlebars and fit one of the pedals (if your bike comes with pedals). In some instances, such as for road bikes, you may also need to attach the handlebars as they're too wide to simply be rotated so they'll be secured to the side of the frame with zip ties.
Remote UK Delivery
Unfortunately, if you require an order to be delivered to any of the remote UK postcodes below then please select the courier detailed as "Remote UK" at the checkout, our checkout system cannot filter out services by postcode but we aren't able to fulfil orders with the incorrect delivery method selected - such orders will be cancelled and refunded at the earliest opportunity.
Our remote UK courier for bikes is usually Parcelforce with prices from £99.95 for bikes over £499 with delivery typically within four to five working days.

Our standard shipping is completely FREE on mainland UK orders over £30* for clothing, components and accessories with delivery within one to two working days, alternatively you can upgrade your delivery to our guaranteed next day delivery (including Saturdays) option for just £9.95.
We aim to dispatch order placed before 14:00 on weekdays (excl. bikes) that same day and all our domestic deliveries are fully traceable, tracking information will be emailed or messaged to you when your order has left our store.
Next Day Delivery
Our next day delivery courier is Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm® which guarantees delivery throughout much if the UK before 1pm the following day (regional restrictions apply).
FREE Store Pickup
If you are local to our area (Carlisle), you can collect your order from our store at your convenience. Collection is free of charge no matter how big or small the order value and you'll be able to collect your order from our store usually within 2hrs on weekdays.
Please note that Store Pickup is not available if you're using an accelerated checkout option such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal Express.

Easy Returns
If an item doesn't fit or isn't quite what you expected then simply fill out the enclosed returns form and return your unwanted items to us within 28 days for a full refund, we'll accept orders returned to us after this period with refunds made via gift vouchers for use against future orders. Unfortunately, we're unable to cover the costs of returning items to us.

Secure Delivery
For security purposes, we reserve the right to cancel shipments to forwarding centres, PO Boxes, and locker boxes. For some items such as bikes and electric scooters, these can only be delivered to the billing address, no change of address or in-transit redirection is permitted for any consignments.
