The new FOX Dropframe takes a few lessons learned when FOX developed the Proframe helmet a couple of years ago in terms of padding, ventilation and protective shell structure.
Aesthetically it isn’t a whole lot different to its full-faced brethren asides from the obvious lack of chin guards, designed for aggressive trail or a bit of enduro, the Dropframe makes up for the lack of chin protection with reduced bulk, considerably better breathability and unencumbered ear protection.
Whilst the Dropframe doesn’t feature MIPS™ it retains the same force dissipating dual-density Varizorb™ EPS liner the Proframe does minus the price tag using MIPS™ usually incurs.
- Dual-density Varizorb™ EPS liner provides improved protection by spreading forces of impact across a wider area
- 8 Big Bore intake vents and 7 exhaust vents keep you cool and aid in moisture management
- The fixed visor is positioned perfectly to channel air through the helmet
- Fidlock® SNAP helmet buckle provides quick entry and exit while wearing gloves
