Free Delivery
Delivery is FREE on orders over £50 (excl. Bikes, see below) within the United Kingdom with next day delivery available from just £2.95, as we no longer “remote warehouse” our stock you can order as late as 3pm for next working day or weekend delivery.
Tracking is provided upon dispatch and you can opt for order updates to be sent to you via Facebook Messenger if you prefer that over email.
Next Day Delivery
We’ve partnered with DPD for our next day deliveries including their industry leading DPD Predict and Follow My Parcel services so you can find out exactly where your order is and approximately when it will be delivered.
On the morning of delivery, you will receive either an email or text message from DPD with the name of your driver, an hour slot for delivery and a range of 'In-Flight' options such as;
- Select an alternative delivery date
- Opt for delivery to a nominated neighbour
- Have the parcel left in a specified safe place
- Collect the parcel from your local DPD Pickup Shop
- Upgrade delivery to before 10:30, before 12, afternoon or a Saturday or Sunday
These options can be managed either via the DPD Local website using your tracking reference or via the Your DPD app available for free from the App Store and Google Play. Fees may apply for some alterations which are paid directly to DPD Group.
Remote Zone Delivery
Our economy service covers the whole of the United Kingdom as is FREE on orders over £50, however, unfortunately, we're unable to provide express services to customers in Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands nor any other offshore isle, please avoid purchasing these services at the checkout.
Delivery of Bikes
Delivery is FREE within England and Wales on bikes (or orders containing bikes) over £500, customers located in the Scotland Highlands, Northern Ireland and other offshore isles may possibly be surcharged for delivery depending on the exact location.
All our bikes are delivered pre-assembled, setup and safety checked by our workshop, shipped in custom-made bike boxes allowing them to be despatched requiring just a few tweaks from you upon receiving the bike such as fitting pedals.
We aim to ship all our bikes that same day if ordered before lunchtime on during weekdays and our delivery estimate is usually the following working day.
Free Returns
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase from us here at Scotby Cycles which us why we’re one of only two or three bike shops (and as far as we're aware the only independent bike shop) which offer free returns on all accessories and clothing.
If an item doesn't fit, or isn't quite what you expected then simply complete our returns form (details of which will be included with your order) and we’ll provide you with a free Royal Mail Tracked label so you can send us your returns completely free of charge from any Post Office branch within 28-days of purchase.
