With 2018 just a month away we’re beginning to upload new products to our site and there are a few new additions to our range of Five Ten shoes which we’ll be stocking in the new year, with a new model and a selection of new colours for existing models.
Five Ten Impact Pro
The new Impact Pro is the only completely new model heading into 2018, it’s a completely updated version of its predecessor the Impact VXi featuring superior toe protection and quicker drying than its predecessor and utilizes a full dotty S1™ outsole for proven grip and durability.
The concept behind the Impact Pro was to expand on everything the original VXi shoe did well such as durability, protection, and grip; while minimizing bulk and drying times.
We’ve only had a brief play around with the shoes in store a few months ago but we hope to have a more in-depth review of the shoes once they arrive in January.
New Colours
Freerider Element
The rest of the 2018 range are new colour additions with the highlight (in our opinion anyway) being a new Black/Rubia Grey version of the Freerider Element which is a very much welcome addition to the popular Dark Grey/Orange which has been doing the rounds since 2015 give or take, we’ve been asking for months if this could get here before the winter months but alas it just hasn’t been possible, but we should see this arrive in January.
Freerider Pro (and Classic)
Both the men’s and women’s Freerider Classic and Pro see a single new colour addition each, for the Classic the Black/Grey
men’s Freerider will make a popular option between the Grey/Black and Black/Khaki plus the women’s version sees a new Onix/Shock Green which is pretty feminine without resorting to the stereotypical pinks. As for the Freerider Pro, there will be a slightly controversial Olive Cargo (its divided opinions here at Scotby Towers) and a quite nice Onix/Ash colour for the women’s version.
Freerider ELC
The ELC sees a slightly less psychedelic Midnight Grey version come along for those who quite fancied the benefits of having a pair of shoes featuring a shoe cover to keep mud and other debris out but didn’t quite fancy the bold colours the model launched with last year.
