The new 2021 Merida One-Forty 600 with its short chainstays, long reach and short stem with wide bars is a fun-packed yet confidence-inspiring full suspension trail bike. The lower mount moves with the suspension system delivering sensitive response characteristics with great support in mid-travel and the feel of more than 140mm travel.

Featuring a 150mm Marzocchi Z2 fork and RockShox Deluxe rear shock to smooth out even the gnarliest of trail bumps, the latest 12-speed Shimano drivetrain with a premium XT rear derailleur and Race Face crank make up a dependable drivetrain. All this means you'll be going fast, and fast bikes need powerful brakes, the One-Forty 600 comes kitted out with Shimano M6100 hydraulic disc brakes for reliable all-weather performance.

Balanced Trail Bike Geometry

The geometry of the ONE-FORTY is influenced heavily by its bigger brother, the ONE-SIXTY, by mimicking the short chainstays (435 mm) for increased agility and playfulness on the trail. A well-balanced reach and low centre of gravity combined with a short stem and wide handlebar deliver fun-packed yet confidence-inspiring handling.

Float Link Suspension

The lower shock mount moves with the system to deliver plushness and pedalling efficiency. Merida's engineers can precisely influence the transmission ratio and progression, which means that a ‘Float Link’ system is extremely sensitive, delivering great support in mid-travel and the appearance of more travel than the model name suggests. The rear end creates the feeling of almost bottomless travel whilst remaining perfectly controlled when climbing.

Trunnion Mount

A trunnion mount shock gives Merdia's frame designers more flexibility by using a shorter shock with increased stroke. Combined with the ball bearing bushing of the upper mount, shock sensitivity is increased, and the suspension performance can be perfectly tuned.

1x Specific Drivetrain

Modern trail bikes are all about simplicity, durability, and efficiency and modern 1x drivetrains offer a huge gear range whilst remaining lightweight. Building a frame around a 1x specific setup allows Merdia to keep chainstays short, adding to the agility and playfulness of the bike. Perfect for today’s demanding trails.

Tyre Clearance

The ONE-FORTY has clearance for up to 2.6" wide 650B tyres, allowing plenty of extra room to fit the right tyre for the track. Extra-wide tyres deliver increased levels of grip and comfort when the track gets rougher and more demanding, significantly improving the overall handling and riding experience.

Smart Entry

Cables, housings, and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

How much is shipping?

UK Mainland shipping bikes over £499 is free of charge, for orders under £499 we charge £29.95 for standard shipping.

We use DPD when shipping all our convensional bikes (i.e. not electric bikes) on an overnight service which includes full tracking and an hours timed delivery slot.

When will you ship my order?

Orders placed before 12:00 on buisness days are usually shipped that same day.

Before we can ship your new bike, it needs to go into our workshop to be PDI'd (Pre-Delivery Inspected), during this inspection our mechanics will check everything is setup and ready to go - this can take a little time so on busy days or during sale periods it might take a day longer to process.

For further information please see our Shipping Policy.

How do I return an item?

If you need to return an item to us you can do so with 30 days of recieiving the item.

Simply follow the instructions on the paperwork enclosed with your order or visit our Returns Page for further information.

Returns are subject to our Refund Policy.

Is this bike in stock?

We only make available for sale products we have in stock, we do not remote warehouse products from suppliers as other stores do.

Our inventory is live except for bikes which are subject to up to a 24hr delay as our retail stores' inventory system is a bit archaic and requires a manual sync.
