Take a fresh look cycling with the new Raleigh Motus; designed for taking on life's journey, designed for taking on the demands of your life, be it the daily commute, a ride down to the shops or a weekend break - with power-assisted pedalling the Raliegh Motus makes it easier to cycle for longer and tackle hills without slowing down. Developed here in Britain and made in Europe, all of Raleigh's Motus eBikes use the latest technology to deliver a premium electric bike experience whilst delivering fantastic value for money.
Featuring the newly re-designed Active Line motor, which is 25% smaller than its predecessor, weighs in at a feather-light 2.9kgs and is almost completely noise-free so you can get the maximum enjoyment out of your journeys. What's more, with a maximum assistance output of 250% you'll be able to travel further and experience more than you would on a regular bike. The simple and compact Purion Display offers all the essential information you'll need to know whilst riding and allows you to easily switch between the four modes to find the right level of assistance.
The Motus Grand Tour is fully equipped with extra features and quality components such as disk brakes for ultimate stopping performance, reflective ebike-specific tyres, a traditional bell, wheel lock for added security, adjustable handlebar stem, suspension saddle and integrated lights.
This version of the Motus Grand Tour features a Shimano Nexus drivetrain for reliable and low maintenance gearing. Ideal for urban riding, hub gears can be changed down whilst stationary (waiting for lights) and because there is only one sprocket the chain is under a more consistent tension meaning it will last longer and will do so with less need for cleaning and lubrication compared to conventional drivetrains.
Bosch 500wh PowerPack
Reliable, long-lasting energy storage with ergonomic designs.
The 500WH battery deployed onto the Motus Tour range will allow you to ride for up to 225km/140miles on a single charge, these new PowerPack's offer reliable, long-lasting energy storage with stunning ergonomic designs. These Lithium-Ion batteries have an impressive life expectancy and will last at least 1,000 full charges before any noticeable battery degradation.
Bosch Intuvia Display
Bosch displays show everything you need to know whilst riding.
The sophisticated Intuvia Display offers maximum clarity and convenience with the display screen placed in the centre of the handlebars for easy readability and the control unit is safely on the left handlebar.

* XS models with a low step frame tend to have smaller 26" wheels rather than 700c wheels used on the rest of the Motus range, this will lower the overall height of the bike which is why its a different size despite having the same physical frame size as the small models.
This size guide is for advisory purposes only as the sizing data we have from Raleigh can be conflictive, therefore we really recommend you visit our store (or at very least contact us) to try some of the different models to correctly assess what frame size you require prior to purchase.
