Atrack Core Backpack
Previously known as the Atrack CR
The new ORTLIEB Atrack Core has everything required for everyday life or your next short trip. The Active Travel Backpack is waterproof to IP67. Designed with function and minimalism in mind, however, it retains many features - for example, a back system with step-less adjustability.
The modular system and numerous accessories allow rapid, individual, use-specific modification on your trip – outdoors or in the city. Accessories and compression straps are fixed to the daisy chains.
The unique position of the waterproof TIZIP zipper (in the Atrack Core back panel) provides a wide opening with unobstructed access. The zipper‘s back panel position is an advantage - preventing unauthorised access whilst the pack is on your back - a real bonus in the urban jungle.
Four zippered inner pockets and an internal compression strap aid clean organisation for packing and unpacking.

ORTLIEB rebranded a number of their products for 2024, the Atrack Core was previously called the Atrack CR.
We expect the outer packaging for such products will continue to show the previous product name for some time into 2024 as ORTLIEB use up their stocks of pre-existing packaging, so if you order a Atrack Core and you receive a boxed or bagged product from us branded as Atrack CR then don't worry about it - you have recieived the product you ordered. For further information, we have a dedicated page highlighting the changes across the ORTLIEB product portfolio for 2024 onwards.Year2024MSRP£210.00PVC-free?YesIP RatingIP67
IP Ratings Explanation
IP Ratings or Ingress Protection Ratings is an internationally recognised means of rating products of various types in terms of their capacity to prevent dust or liquids from engrossing into them or through them, pretty much all of ORTLIEB’s products bare an IP rating.
The tl;dr as possible explanation is as follows;
The first digit represents the products resistance to dust with ratings ratings above 4 being resistant to anything larger than 1mm and ratings of 5 and 6 being pretty much impenetrable.
The second digit represents the products resistance to liquids, this rating is slightly more complicated than first as aspects such as the pressure of the water being sprayed onto the product and the angle matter.
A rating of 3 means the product can handle sprays of water hitting it within 60 degrees from vertical (basically, this isn’t a problem unless you plan on riding through a typhoon or on a normal summers day here in the Lake District), ratings 4 and above can handle water hitting it from any direction.
Products which bare a rating of 7 (such as some of the BikePacking and Attack products) are the Andy McNab’s of the scale as they’ll handle high pressure water jets from any direction and submersion up to 1 meter in depth.
It’s worth noting that to achieve these ratings, products must be property closed and in some cases with bags which feature roll closures a number of roles are required - each product such have a PDF data sheet available which may detail ORTLIEB’s requirements to achieve the IP rating they’ve been awarded.ClosureTIZIPFabricsPS33Volume25 litresWeight1.430 kgHeight56 cmDepth25 cmWidth26 cm
