Hello football fans around the globe. How’s your heart rate? What a thrilling encounter we witnessed in Mexico City. Five goals, two penalties, a red card, 12 minutes of injury time, and a charged atmosphere in a true stadium culminated in contrasting emotions for England and Mexico. There’s a lot to dissect from that match, and we will attempt to do so here, along with updates from a rather eventful day at the World Cup, including the last-16 clash between Norway and Brazil.

We’ll also look forward to matches 93 and 94 of this World Cup – the highly anticipated showdown between Spain and Portugal, followed by the co-hosts USA facing Belgium, a match in which Folarin Balogun will be participating, contrary to all typical conventions.
